Floor Preparations

We ensure the floor is prepped to the highest standard to ensure that the finishing result is perfect. The existing floor needs to be cleaned and remove any debris, this is so that the new flooring will lay flat.

Damp Proof Membrane

Damp Proof membrane is installed to prevent water ingress to the site in the future. The membrane is cut to size and placed against walls and floors to prevent damp transferring to internal finishes.

Underfloor Heating (UFH)

When renovating your property, underfloor heating is defiantly worth thinking about. This flooring solution will evenly warm your property, it distributes heat throughout the entire house.

Liquid Screed & Aftercare

Screed & That pour screed, ensuring the finish is smooth and level prior to the application of the final flooring finish. At Screed and That we specialise in free flowing screed to work well with your underfloor heating. We also offer floor sanding and polishing services to the newly installed floors.

Commissioning the Manifold

Once the underfloor heating is installed, it should be thoroughly tested to ensure it works properly. At Screed and That, we offer a high quality commissioning service. We can even connect the underfloor heating to your existing heating system or boiler upon request.
